A picture's worth a 1000 words.

Dino is my crabber. The fact I can't stand seafood in any way or shape does not prevent a lot of it from passing through my house.
At present Dino has a small problem. This is the boat...
And these are the pots. When all the pots are loaded into the boat the boat becomes unstable. As the pots are moved regularly & he prefers to make just the one trip he has a rather large problem, especially as he has to...

Do this...

And this...

In order to retrieve this...one sand crab.

Solution: ask Liddy along to act as ballast. Yes, she was also the camera man. It is winter here. It may look glorious but it is freezing out on the water & we are still without a washing machine. Liddy has reached the point where she is borrowing jackets & can't wait till she goes back to work. She has an interview on Friday morning & we are all hopeful her extended holiday will soon be over.

MrsD..I wish I could send crabs your way...& not because I am a nice person who wants to do something nice for a friend but because I can't stand the stuff. Stinky, stinky!

Diane, I'm sure Dino would be delighted to take you out as ballast if you can stand the stench. It is a very smelly activity.
